Sasaram : Grand Alliance’s (Mahagathbandhan) chief ministerial candidate Tejaswi Yadav while addressing election meetings at Dinara and Nokha in Rohtas District in South Bihar on October 22, 2020, alleged that all the files related to corruption and embezzlement of funds were burnt in Secretariat fire recently under a conspiracy to save the top leaders NDA leaders including CM Nitish Kumar.

Tejaswi, the Leader of Opposition in Bihar Assembly, also said that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had left the migrant labourers working outside in lurch after lockdown was enforced across the country on March 24, 2020, in the wake of COVID-10 pandemic. The chief Minister had refused to arrange for their return to their native places in Bihar, Tejaswi alleged. On the other hand, Tejaswi claimed, he and other leaders of Grand Alliance had extended help to migrant workers by rushing them food packets and other provisions.

Tejaswi listed failures of double engines government led byNitish Kumar on different fronts and referred to the alleged boozing by rodents in Bihar. He said that Nitish Kumar brags about false development even as thousands of posts in different government departments were lying vacant. This government has denied jobs to unemployed youth and cheated contractual teachers, the RJD leader said. Nitish government has miserably failed on agriculture, education, irrigation, medicare, law and order fronts, Tejaswi claimed.

Tezaswi repeated that if Grand Alliance is voted to power, at least 10 lakh unemployed youth would be given job while stipend of Asha, Sevikas, Sahayikas will be increased. Contractual teachers will be given equal pay for equal work while agriculture loans of farmers ill be waived. The RJD said that job opportunities would be created to check migration from Bihar. He said that the RJD, Left Parties, and Congress are contesting election together this time and exhorted people to cast their votes in favour of the Great Alliance candidates.
