New Delhi : The number of corruption related complaints received in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) during March 1, 2019, to February 29, 2020, was 12,458.  Total disposal of corruption related complaints during the said period was is 12,066.

As per guidelines issued by Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances, the grievance is required to be disposed off within a period of 2 months by the Ministry/Department/Organisation concerned. Where redressal is likely to take longer time, an interim reply should be sent to the Citizen explaining the steps taken and assuring that further necessary action is being taken in the matter.

This information was provided by Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) Development of North-Eastern Region (DoNER), MoS PMO, Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, Atomic Energy and Space, Dr Jitendra Singh, in written reply to  questions in  Lok Sabha on March 18, 2020, according to a PIB rellease.
