New Delhi : The number of Coronavirus (COVID-19) patients getting cured increased to 1,80,012 in India at 8 am on June 16, 2020, a massive increase of 10,215 during last 24 hours. In Maharashtra, 56,049 patients have been cured till date followed by 25,344 in Tamilnadu, 16,664 in Gujarat, 16,427 in Delhi, 9,785 in Rajasthan, 8,268 in UP, 7,903 in MP, 5,494 in West Bengal, 4,409 in Bihar, 4,135 in Karnataka, 3,565 in Haryana, 2,854 in Odisha, and 2,443 in Punjab. The recovery rate has crossed 51% mark. The number of active cases stands at 1,53,178.
Coronavirus death toll has jumped to 9,900 in India with 380 new deaths being reported from different parts of the country during last 24 hours with Maharashtra alone reporting 178 new deaths, Delhi 73, Gujarat 28, and Haryana 12. The COVID-19 death toll has reached 100 in Haryana.
