New Delhi : Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) death toll soared to 14,681 in Italy on April 4, 2020, 764 new deaths, according to WHO Situation Report-75. Italy had recorded 1,19,827 confirmed cases till April 4 including 4,585 new cases. Coronavirus death in Spain, which has reported 1,17,710 confirmed cases including 7,472 new cases, has jumped to 10,935 including 932 new deaths since the last update on April 3. France has reported 63,536 confirmed cases including 5,209 new cases. The COVID-19 death toll in France shot up to 6,493 on April 4 including 2,003 new deaths.
According to WHO Situation Report, Coronavirus confirmed cases surged to 2,41,703 in USA on April 4 including 28,103 new cases. Coronavirus death toll in USA was 5,854 on April 4 including 1,061 new deaths. The death toll in Canada, which accounts for 11,732 confirmed cases including 1,618 new cases, is 158 including 25 new deaths. Brazil has reported 7,910 confirmed cases including 1,074 new cases. The death toll in Brazil is 299 including 58 new deaths.
In China, which had reported 82,875 conformed cases including 73 new cases till April 4, the death toll is 3,335 including 4 new deaths. In Republic of Korea, which accounts for 10,156 confirmed cases including 94 new cases, the death toll is 177 including 3 new deaths. In Japan, which has reported 2,920 confirmed cases including 303 new cases, the death toll is 69 including 4 new deaths.
Germany has reported 85,778 confirmed cases including 6,082 new cases. The death toll in Germany is 1,158 including 141 new deaths. The death toll in UK has climbed to 3,605 including 684 new deaths. UK had reported 38,172 confirmed cases till April 4 including 4,450 new cases. The number of COVID-19 confirmed cases in Pakistan had reached 2,450 on April 4 while the death toll is 35.
Worldwide, the number of COVID-19 confirmed cases has surged to 10,51,635 including 79,332 new cases. The death toll in the world was 56,985 on April 4 including 6,654 new deaths.
