New Delhi : novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) death toll jumped to 824 in India including 301 in Maharashtra, 127 in Gujarat, 92 in MP, 53 in Delhi, 31 in Andhra Pradesh, 27 in Rajasthan, 26 each in Telangana and UP, 22 in Tamilnadu, and 18 in West Bengal, at 8 am on April 26, 2020.
On the positive side, the number of patients cured/discharged too has jumped to 5,803 in the country including 957 in Maharashtra, 866 in Tamilnadu, 857 in Delhi, 331 in Kerala, 265 in Gujarat, 253 in Telangana, 230 in Rajasthan, 248 in UP, 210 in MP, 156 in Haryana, 153 in Karnataka, and 171 in Andhra Pradesh. The number of COVID-19 active cases stands at 19,868 in the country.
Among the States/UTs, Maharashtra has recorded 6,817 confirmed cases of Coronavirus followed by Gujarat with 2,815 such cases. Delhi has reported 2,514 confirmed cases so fa while MP has recorded 1,952 confirmed cases.
