New Delhi : The number of Coronavirus (COVID-19) patients cured/discharged climbed to 42,297 including 9,639 in Maharashtra and 5,043 in Gujarat in India at 8 am on May 20, 2020, an increase of 3,124 over the last input released on May 19, 2020. Coronavirus death toll has jumped to 3,303 in India with 140 new deaths being reported from different parts of the country during last 24 hours.
The Coronavirus death toll break- up is : Maharashtra (1,325), Gujarat (719), MP ( 258), West Bengal (250), Delhi (168), Rajasthan (143), UP (123), Tamilnadu (84), Andhra Pradesh (52), Karnataka (40), Telangana (38), Punjab (38), J&K (17), Haryana (14), Bihar (9), Odisha (5), Asam (4), Kerala 94), Chandigarh (3), Himachal Pradesh (3), Jharkhand (3), Meghalaya (1), Puducherry (1), and Uttarakhand(1).
Globally, COVID-19 death has jumped to 91,921 in USA and 35,422 in UK. Italy has reported 32,169 deaths till date.
