Patna : Coronavirus (COVID-19) confirmed cases jumped to 746 in Bihar on May 11, 2020, evening, increasing at an alarming rate in the state. Eight BMP-14, Khajpura, Patna, personnel tested positive to Coronavirus on May 11, 2020. They are in 26-50 year age group and the government is looking into their infection trail, according to Principal Secretary, Health, Bihar Government, Sanjay Kumar. Three more persons from Patna district including two from Athmalgola and one from Belchi tested COVID-19 positive on the day taking the total to 61 in the district.

In fact, 50 persons have tested positive to Coronavirus in Bihar since May 10, 2020, late night.  Three residents of Kiratpur in Darbhanga District in 18-21 year age group also tested COVID-19 positive on the day.

Five persons from Sheikhpura district – two from Shekhopur Sarai and three Lodipur- also tested Coronavirus positive on the day. They are in 18-25 year age group. Muzaffarpur district also reported three COVID-19 cases on May 11, 2020, with two residents of Bochaha and one from Marwan testing positive. They are in 23-42 year age group. Nawada district also reported four COVID-19 confirmed cases on the day including three from Sirdala and one from Hisua.

Two persons each from Supaul and Madhubani districts in North Bihar too tested positive to the disease on May 11.  The two two cases from Supaul were reported from Raghopur and Triveniganj. In Madhubani district, one case each was reported from Rajnagar and Malangia, Rahika, taking the total to 24 in the district. One positive case each was also reported from Rupauli, Purnia, and Saurbazar, Saharsa.

Gopalganj and Bhagalpur districts also reported two Coronavirus positive cases each on the day. Khagaria district too reported five coronavirus positive cases. Begusarai district reported 4 cases and Banka two cases.
