Patna : Five more persons including three women from Madhubani and a woman from West Champaran districts in North Bihar tested positive to Coronavirus (COVID-19) taking the total number of positive cases to 523 in Bihar. The number of patients cured/discharged stands at 125 in Bihar. The health authorities are ascertaining their infection trail.
According to Principal Secretary, Heal Department, Bihar Government, Sanjay Kumar, all the five new Coronavirus confirmed cases in Madhubani district have been reported from Jhanjharpur area taking the total to 23 in the district. They are in 8-40 year age group. The new patient from West Champaran belongs Sanichari under Yogapati block and is a 19 year old woman. West Champaran District has so far reported 11 confirmed cases of Coronavirus.
