Patna : Five more persons including two in Patna and one each in Madhubani, Sheohar, and Kaimur districts tested positive to Coronavirus (COVID-19) on May 6, 2020, taking the total to 541 in Bihar. The Coronavirus death toll in Bihar is four.
A 28 year old man of Rajabazar and a 21 year old youth of Agamkuan tested positive to Coronavirus in Patna on May 6. A 25 year old man of Bhabhua, headquarters of Kaimur District, tested Coronavirus positive taking the total of such cases to 31 in Kaimur District. A 24 year old man of Narar in Madhubani District in North Bihar also tested to COVID-19 taking the total of such cases to 24 in the district. A 25 year old woman of Gadhwa in Sheohar District in North Bihar too tested positive to the disease on the day. The Government is ascertaining into their infection trail.
Meanwhile, Bihar Government on May 6, 220, sought clarification from Union Health & Family Welfare Ministry regarding inclusion of Gaya District into Red Zone. Gaya District has so far reported only six Coronavirus confirmed cases. On the other hand, Nalanda District which has reported 36 COVID-19 confirmed cases so far is in Orange Zone. Kaimur District, which has reported 31 confirmed cases, is also in Orange Zone.
