Patna : The number of Coronavirus (COVID-19) confirmed cases climbed to 999 in Bihar at 10.30 pm on May 14, 2020, with 46 more persons including nine persons in Purnia, six each in Lakhisarai and Khagaria, five in Jehanabad, and 3 each in Banka, Muzaffarpur, Nalanda Districts testing positive to the disease in the state on the day. Seven persons have died due to Coronavirus in the state till date.
Of the nine Coronavirus cases from Purnia, eight were reported from Rupauli and one from Islampur. The six cases from Khagaria were reported from Jaulkaura, Beldaur, Alauli, Gogri, Machuatola, and Chandpura.
Of the six cases from Lakhisarai district, one each was reported from Nayatola, Sansarpokhar, Gulani, Ramshir, Jakanpura, and Mohaddinagar while three cases from Muzaffarpur were reported from Motipur, Kurhani, and Bandra. In Jehanabad, three cases were reported from Malahchak and one each from Ratnifaridpur and Shyamnagar.
In Banka, three cases were reported from from Nagarpalika, Pathargama, and Belhar. Two cases were reported from Sheikhpura and three from Nalanda districts. Two persons each in Rohtas, Supaul, and Vaishali district and one each from Bhojpur, and Kishanganj also tested positive to Coronavirus on the day.
