Patna : Coronavirus (COVID-19) confirmed cases jumped to 1,872 in Bihar on May 21, 2020, as 96 more persons including 19 from Katihar, 18 from Rohtas, 17 from Gopalganj, 16 from Samastipur, nine from Lakhisarai, eight from Sheikhpura, five from Purnia, and three from Munger districts have tested positive to the disease. The Government is looking into their infection trail.

In Katihar district in eastern Bihar, 8 vases were reported from Bharatpur, two each from Ratanpur and Hatware, and one each from Adima Chak, Kushela, Gumti Tola, Boriya, Itwaghat, Patora, and Shantinagar. In Gopalganj, 11 cases were reported from Barauli, two each from Salona and Kalla Subhash, and one each from Sidhwalia and Mauza Kahla.

In Rohtas, two cases each were reported from Kochas, Deokhaira, Kalyanpur, and three each from Dehri and Shivpur, and one each from Shankarpur, Kuriyari, Riwan, Parsathua, Barkuria, and Navaliya.

In Samastipur District in North Bihar,eight cases were reported from Morwa, three from Ujiyarpur, two from Tajpur, and one each from Samastipur Town, Dudhpura, Dalsingsarai,
