Ranchi (Jharkhand) : Nine more persons tested positive to Coronavirus (COVID-19) on May 5, 2020, taking the total of such cases to 124 in Jharkhand. Of the 9 new active cases, four were reported from Hindpiri locality in Ranchi while three others were reported from Jamshedpur. Two Coronavirus confirmed cases were reported from Dumka, Jharkhand.
Jharkhand has reported three Coronavirus death so far, according Health Secretary, Jharkhand, Nitin Kulkarni. The number of patients cured/discharged stands is 27.
Meanwhile, Coronavirus death toll jumped to 1,583 in India on May 5, 2020, evening.
