Patna : The novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) confirmed cases surged to 909 in India at 5.45 pm on March 28, 2020, registering an increase of 36 during last 8 hours 15 minutes. The figure includes 47 foreign nationals, 80 cured/discharged/migrated cases, and 19 deaths. Maharashtra tops the list in the country with 180 active cases including 3 foreigners followed by Kerala with 176 cases including 8 foreingers. The figure stands at 56 in Telangana including 10 foreigners while Karnataka accounts for 55 such cases.

Delhi has reported 39 confirmed Coronavirus cases so far while Rajasthan accounts for 54 such cases. The figure stands at 40 in Tamilnadu including 6 foreign nationals. UP has reported 55 active cases while Gujarat accounts for 45 cases including 1 foreign national. Haryana has reported 33 active cases so far including 14 foreigners, according to Union Health & Family Welfare Ministry.

In J&K, the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases has increased to 20 while Ladakh has reported 13 such cases so far. The figure stands at 14 in Andhra Pradesh (AP) and 38 in Punjab. West Bengal has reported 15 active cases while Bihar accounts for 9 cases. Chhattisgarh and Andamans & Nicobar Islands have reported 6 active cases each while Chandigarh has reported 8 active cases. Goa,Odisha,  and Himachal Pradesh have reported 3 cases each while Madhya Pradesh has reported 30 cases so far. Manipur, Mizoram, and Puducherry have reported 1 active case so far. The figure stands at 4 in Uttarakhand.
