Patna : Bihar reported 51 news confirmed cases of novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) including 6 in Patna 10 in Rohtas, 7 in Bhojpur, and five in Aurangabad on April 27, 2020, indicating a a grim situation in the state. For the first time, Coronavirus confirmed cases have been reported from Madhubani, Darbhanga, and Purnia. The Coronavirus death toll in Bihar stands at two.
At Patna, two persons from Machhli Gali, Raja Bazar, detected Coronavirus positive while one person each detected positive at Phulwari, BPSC, Bailey Road, and New Patliputra Colony, and Naubatpur. The New Patliputra Colony patient is a 23 year old youth.
Principal Secretary, Health, Sanjay Kumar, while confirming the detection of 51 new cases, said the number of confirmed cases has increased to 345 in Bihar.
