Patna : Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases jumped to 4,745 in Bihar on june 6, 2020, morning, with 147 more persons including 15 from Madhubani, 28 from Supaul and 9 from Purnia testing positive to it. The new patients are in 1052 year age group and local authorities are ascertaining their infection trail.
During the last 24 hours, a total of 4,611 COVID-19 patients have been cured in India. A total of 1,14,073 patients have been cured so far of COVID-19 in the country. The recovery rate is 48.20% amongst COVID-19 patients. At present, there are 1,15,942 active cases and all are under active medical supervision.
ICMR has further ramped up the testing capacity for detecting the novel Coronavirus in infected persons. The number of government labs has been increased to 520 while the private labs has been increased to 222.
