Patna : Coronavirus (COVID-19) rose to 10,393 in Bihar on July 2, 2020, with 188 more persons including 64 from Patna District, 39 from Muzaffarpur including few doctors, 17 from Aurangabad, 13 from Nawada, 11 from West Champaran, seven from Madhubani, seven from Nalanda, testing positive to it. The new patients are in 7-68 year age group.
In patna District, 56 cases were reported from Patna City, five from Boring Road, two from Patna Town, and one from Fatuha. In West Champaran District in North Bihar, six cases were reported from Majhaulia and five from Bagaha. In Sheikhpura District, three cases were reported from Sheikhpura town. In Supaul District in North Bihar, two cases were reported from Supaul town. IN Sheohar, one case was reported from Sheohar town.
In Muzaffarpur District in North Bihar, 23 cases were reported from Minapur, five from Katra, three from Mushahari, three from Sakra, three from Aurai, and two from Kanti. In Gopalganj District in North Bihar, two cases were reported from Sidhwalia and one from Barauli. In Madhubani District, six cases were reported from Babubarhi and one from Kaluahi.
In Aurangabad District, 13 cases were reported from Aurangabad town, three from Daudnagar, and one from Nabinagar. In Bhagalpur District in eastern Bihar, three cases were reported from Nathnagar, two from Jagdishpur, and one each from Pirpainti and Gopalpur. In Bhojpur, one case was reported from Charpokhri. In Arwal District, three cases were reported from village Sarwan under Arwal Block.
In Nawada District, seven cases were reported from Nawada town, three from Sirdala, and one each from Rajauli, Warisalinagar, and Pakribarama. In Rohtas District, two cases were reported from Rohtas block and one each from Dehri and Suryapura. In Nalanda District, five cases were reported from Silao and one each from Tharthari and Chandi.
