Patna : Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases crossed nine thousand mark in Bihar on June 28, 2020, reaching 9,117 with 138 more persons including 20 from Patna District, 39 from Bhagalpur, eight from Aurangabad, six from Rohtas, testing positive to it. The new patients are in 5-64 year age group and authorities concerned are looking into their infection trail. COVID-19 death toll in Bihar stands at 59.
In Patna District, five cases were reported from Patna town, seven from Patna City, three from Lohanipur, two from Kankarbagh, and one each from Barh and Khusrupur. In Bhagalpur District, 16 cases were reported from Naugachhia, 18 from Narayanpur, three from Goradih, and two from Kahalgaon.
In Aurangabad District, five cases were reported from Aurangabad town, and one each from Obra and Nabinagar. In Rohtas district, three cases were reported from Dehri, two from Dawath, and one from Nokha. In Samastipur District, two cases each were reported from Samastipur and Kalyanpur. In Sheohar district, one case was reported from Policeline. Six cases were reported from Gaya District including two from Gaya town and four from Belaganj. In Gopalganj District, two cases were reported from Gopalganj town.
