Patna : Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases rose to 7,808 in Bihar on June 22, 2020, with 143 more persons including 23 from Madhubani, 17 from Darbhanga District, 16 from Samastipur, 16 from Patna, seven from Kishanganj, five from Bhagalpur, testing positive to it. The new patients are in year age group and authorities concerned are ascertaining their infection trail. Altogether 5,767 Coronavirus patients have got cured in the state till date. Coronavirus death toll has climbed to 53 in Bihar with one more person dying due to it in Patna District.
In Madhubani District, five cases were reported from Benipatti, three from Rahika, two from Laukahi, and two from Pandaul. In Darbhanga, three cases were reported from Jale, two from Bahadurpur, and two from Darbhanga town. In Bhagalpur, four cases were reported from Sultanganj and one from Jagdishpur. In Bhojpur, one case was reported from Ara. In Buxar, three cases wrre reported from Kesath and one from Buxar.
In Patna District, 10 cases were reported from Patna Town, and four from Dhanarua. In Saharsa District, nine cases were reported from Kahra.
