Patna : Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases surged to 7,290 in Bihar on June 19, 2020, night, with 112 more persons including 28 from Gopalganj District, 19 from Siwan, 15 from Muzaffarpur, 16 from Saharsa, 8 from Begusarai, testing positive to it. The new patients are in 4-59 year age group and authorities concerned are ascertaining their infection trail. In all, 250 persons tested positive to Coronavirus in the state including 36 from Buxar on June 19, 2020,. Coronavirus death toll stands at 49 in the state.
In Gopalganj District, 21 cases were reported from Sidhwalia and 7 from Hathua. In Siwan, 10 cases were reported from Maharajganj, 8 from Hasanpura, and one from Gohpur. In Sheohar District, two cases were reported from Policeline. In East Champaran District, two cases were reported from Motihari and one from Sangrampur. In Begusarai District, three cases were reported from Chhaurahi, two from Begusarai town, and one each from Bakhri and Policeline.
In Patna District, one case each was reported from patna Town and Kadamkuan. In Katihar, one case each was reported from Barsoi, Azamnagar, and Balrampur. In Kaimur District, four cases were reported from Rampur and one from Bhabhua.
In Muzaffarpur District in North Bihar, six cases were reported from Marwan, six from Mushahari, and one each from Kanti, Saraiya, and Bochahan. In Purnia District, five cases were reported from Amour. In Saharsa District, 12 cases were reported from Kahra, two from Sonbersa, and one each from Banama Itahari and Simri Bakhtiyarpur.
