Patna : Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases crossed seven thousand mark in Bihar reaching 7,040 on June 18, 2020, night, with 47 more persons including 13 from Patna, six from Darbhanga, three from Jrehanabad, five from Vaishali, testing positive to it. In all, one hundred persons tested positive to Coronavirus on June 18, 2020.
The new patients are in 5-63 year age group and the authorities concerned are ascertaining their infection trail. So far, 4,961 Coronavirus patients have been cured in Bihar.
Coronavirus death toll stands at 44 in Bihar including three each from Darbhanga, Khagaria, Begusarai, Saran, and Vaishali districts and two each from Patna, Bhojpur, Nalanda, Sitamarhi, Siwan, Jehanabad, Muzaffarpur. One death each has been reported from Gaya, Aurangabad, Araria, Bhagalpur, Jamui, Katihar, Madhepura, Madhubani, Munger, Nawada, West Champaran, Rohtas, Samastipur, and Sheohar. Gaya, Darbhanga, West Champaran, and Saran district reported one death each on June 18, 2020.
In Patna District, five cases were reported from Barh, three from Patna City, three from Patna Town, and one each from Danapur and Sampatchak. In Vaishali District in North Bihar, two cases were reported from Goraul, and one each from Madhopur, Hajipur, and Madarna. In Rohtas District, two cases were reported from Sasaram. In Nawada District, one case each was reported from Nawada Town and Kauakole.
In Aurangabad District, four cases were reported from Aurangabad Town. In Bhagalpur District in eastern Bihar, two cases were reported from Gopalpur. In Buxar District, two cases were reported from Dumraon. In Gaya District, one case each was reported from Gaya and Atri. In Jehanabad District, two cases were reported from Ratni Faridpur and one from Jehanabad Town. In Kaimur District one case was reported from Ramgarh. In Munger District, one case was reported from Munger Town.
In Darbhanga District in North Bihar, four cases were reported from Kusheshwarsthan and one each from Tardih and Darbhanga town. In Araria District, one case was reported from Forbesganj.
