Patna : Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases climbed to 6,993 in Bihar on June 18, 2020, with 53 more persons including 16 from Darbhanga District, 17 from Rohtas, two from Madhubani, three from Siwan, and six from Samastipur, testing positive to it. The new patients are in 8-55 year age group and local authorities are ascertaining their infection trail. The Coronavirus death toll stands at 44 in Bihar.
In Darbhanga District, seven cases were reported from Kusheswarsthan, three each from Hayaghat and Gaura Bauram, two from Alinagar, and one from Manigachhi. In Rohtas District, nine cases were reported from Chenari and eight cases from village Bodarhi under Dawath Block. In Araria District, one case each was reported from Kursakatta and Araria town. One case each was reported from Kaler (Arwal), Sherghati ( Gaya), and Kudra ( Kaimur).
In Samastipur District in North Bihar, four cases were reported from Ujiyarpur and one each from Mohanpur and Dalsingsarai. In Siwan District in North Bihar, two cases were Hussainganj and one from Mairwa. In Kishanganj District, two cases were reported from Pothia.
In Madhubani District in North Bihar, two cases were reported from Harlakhi. In Patna District, one case was reported from Patna Town.
