Patna : Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases surged to 6,475 in Bihar on June 14, 2020, night, with 120 more persons including 16 from Samastipur, 14 from Katihar, 12 from Gopalganj, 8 from Muzaffarpur, 7 from Aurangabad, five from Patna, testing positive to it. The new patients are in 1-54 year age group and the local authorities are looking into their infection trail. In all, 186 persons tested positive to Coronavirus in Bihar on June 14, 2020.

In Samastipur district in North Bihar, seven cases were reported from Shivaji Nagar, four from policeline, three from Dalsingsarai, and one each from Samastipur and Kalyanpur. In Aurangabad District, six cases were reported from policeline and one from Aurangabad town. In Muzaffarpur district, four cases were reported from Sahebganj, and one each from Mushhari, Katra, Bandra, Sakra, and Marwan.

In Katihar District in eastern Bihar, ten cases were reported from Katihar town, and one each from Barari, Amdabad, Sameli. In Gopalganj district in North Bihar, eight cases were reported from Hathua, one each from Thawe, Vanpur, Sidhwalia, and Baikunthpur. In Nalanda District, four cases were reported from Tharthari. In Nawada, two cases each were reported from Narhat and Akbarpur, and one each from Sirdala, and Nardiganj.

In Patna District, four cases were reported from Daniyawan and one from Kumhrar. In Siatamarhi, eight cases were reported from Sonbarsa. In West Champaran district, three cases were reported from Gaunaha and from Manjhaulia. In Siwan, six cases were reported from Darauli and one each from Basantpur, Goreakothi, and Maharajganj.
