Patna : Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases jumped to 5,364 in Bihar on June 9, 2020, noon, with 117 more person including 15 from Bhagalpur, 13 from Madhepura, 11 from Nawada, 11 from Kaimur, eight from Saharsa, and four from Darbhanga, testing positive to it. The new patients are in 2-65 year age group and the authorities are looking into their infection trail.

In Bhagalpur District in eastern Bihar, five cases were reported from Bihpur, three from Kahalgaon, two each from Sabour and Naugachhia, and two from Nathnagar. In Madhepura District in North Bihar, eight cases were reported from Shankarpur, four from Ghailar, three from Uda Kishanganj, and one from Singheshwar.

In Nawada, eight cases were reported from Akbarpur and one each from Hisua, Miscaur, and Kendua. In Supaul, two cases were reported from Pratapganj and one each from Pipra and Chhatapur. In Patna district, one case was reported from Patna town.

In Kaimur District, eight cases were reported from Durgawati and three from Chand. In Buxar, four cases were reported from Brahpur.
