Patna : Coronavirus (COVID) cases crossed five thousand mark in Bihar on June 7, 2020, evening, with 98 more persons including 19 from Supaul, 19 from West Champaran, 10 from Sitamarhi, seven from Siwan, seven from Bhojpur, six from Nawada, four from Patna, three from East Champaran testing positive to it taking the total to 5,070. The new patients are in 3-56 year age group and local authorities are ascertaining their infection trail.
In all, 239 persons had tested positive to Coronavirus till 10.45 pm on June 7, 2020. So far, 2,405 COVID-19 patients have been cured in the state. The death toll stands at 30 in Bihar.
In Supaul District in North Bihar, six cases were reported from Kishanpur, four from Supaul, three from Nirmali, two each from Marauna and Pratapganj, and one each from Raghopur and Triveniganj.
In West Champaran District in North Bihar, eight cases were reported from Mainatand, seven from Chanpatia, three from Narkatiaganj, and one from Bettiah. In East Champaran, three cases were reported from Areraj.
In Sitamarhi District in North Bihar, nine cases were reported from Choraut and one from Dumra. In Nawada District, three cases were reported from Pakribarama and one each from Roh, Rajauli, and Sirdala. In Siwan, four cases were reported from Daraunda, two from Hussainganj, and one from Raghunathpur.
In Patna District, one case each was reported from Patelnagar, Patna town, Pandarak, and Mokama. In Bhojpur District, five cases were reported from Agiaon and two from Piro. In Bhagalpur District, two cases each were reported from Sabour and Kahalgaon, and one from Narayanpur. In Gaya, two cases were reported from Fatehpur and one from Manpur.
