Patna : Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases rose to 4,420 in Bihar pm on June 4, 2020, morning, with 94 more persons including 12 from Vaishali, 12 from Purnia, 8 from Nawada, and 7 each from Rohtas, Supaul, and Gopalganj district testing positive to it. The new patients are in 2-72 year age group and local authorities are ascertaining their infection trail.  Coronavirus death toll has climbed to 25 in Bihar as one person died due to it in Jamui District on June 3, 2020, evening. A total of 2,025 patients have been cured in the state so far.

In Vaishali District in North Bihar, 10 cases were report from Hajipur, and one each from Goroul and Patepur. In Purnia District in eastern Bihar, 10 cases were reported from Kasba, and two from Purnia East. In Gopalganj District in North Bihar, three cases were reported from Gopalganj town, two from Baikunthpur, and one each from Kateya and Barauli.

In Nawada District, seven cases were reported from Govindpur and one from Warsaliganj. In Rohtas, six cases were reported from Sheosagar and one from Nasriganj.

In Supaul District in North Bihar, three cases were reported from Supaul town, two from Raghopur,  and one each Bairo and Chhatapur. In Bhagalpur District in Eastern Bihar, three cases were reported from Naugachhia. In Darbhanga District, one case each was reported from Keoti and Jale.

In Patna District, two cases were reported from Patna Town and one each from Sadikpur and Sultanganj. In Jehanabad District, five cases were reported from Makhdumpur and two from Jehanabad Town. In neighbouring Alwar District, two cases were reported from Kaler. In Lakhisarai District, one case was reported from Mankatha.

In Begusarai District in North Bihar, three cases were reported from Cheria Bariarpur.  Two cases were reported from Dumaria and one from Wazirganj in Gaya District.
