Patna : Coronavirus (COVID-19) confirmed cases rose to 2,394 in Bihar at 9 pm on May 23,2020, with 49 more persons including 13 in Sitamarhi, 12 in Aurangabad, six in Nawada, eight Gaya, four in Saran, two each in West Champaran and Bhagalpur, and one each in Vaishali and Nalanda districts testing positive to the disease. In all, 228 persons tested positive to Coronavirus on May 23, 2020, in the state. The government is looking into their infection trail. The patients are in 12-65 year age group.
In Sitamarhi district in North Bihar, 13 persons from Parihar tested positive to Coronavirus. In Aurangabad district, four cases were reported from Madanpur, three from Chatra, two from Barun, and one each from Aurangabad Sadar, Jokhari and Dharbar tested positive to the dissease. In Gaya, two cases each were reported from Tekari and Konch, and one each from Mohanpur, Tankuppa, Fatehpur, and Bodh Gaya.
In Saran, two cases were reported from Sonepur and one each from Masrakh and Marhaurah. One case was reported from Goraul in Vaishali district too. In Nawada, three cases were reported from Narhat and one each from Meskaur and Gobindpur.
