Patna : Coronavirus (COVID-19) confirmed cases surged to 1,987 in Bihar on May 21, 2020, night, as 211 persons including 50 from Jehanabad, 11 from Buxar, 11 from East Champaran, 9 from Samastipur, 8 from Begusarai, seven from Gaya, four Vaishali districts, and two each from Madhubani and West Champaran tested positive to the disease Three persons from Sheikhpura have also tested positive. Ten persons have died due to Coronavirus in Bihar till date.
In Jehanabad district, 14 cases were reported from Hulasganj, eight from Ghosi, three each from Rukunpur and Makhdumpur, two each from Gendabigha and Kurre, one each from Salarpur, Khaira, Basibigha, Seonan, Salempur, Titaibigha, Zafraganj, Rampur, Mokar, Ratni Faridpur, Karo, Gandha, Vaina, and Modanganj.
In Buxar District, two cases each were were reported from Katariya and Parsiya three from Rajpur, one each from Mohariya, Kaithhar Kala, and Chhitan Dihara. In Samastipur District, five cases were reported from Morwa, two from Samastipur Town, and one each from Dalsingsarai and Ujiyarpur. In Vaishali District, four cases were reported from Vaishali Town while in Gaya District, 7 cases were reported from Gaya Town.
In East Champaran, three cases were reported from Bela Baiju, two each from Rampur and from Batraulia,and one each from Ghorasahan, Saraiya,Chaita, and Khairwa. In Begusarai, four cases were reported from Teghra, three from Sadar, and one from Bhagwanpur. In Madhubani, one case was reported from Kaluahi and one from Narayanpur. In Patna one case was reported from Paliganj.
