Patna : novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) confirmed cases jumped to 1,519 in Bihar on May 19, 2020, late night, as 24 more persons including 13 from Katihar District in Eastern Bihar and five from Kaimur District tested positive to the disease. The Government is ascertaining their infection trail. In all, 77 persons tested positive to Coronavirus in Bihar on May 19, 2020.
In Katihar District, five cases were reported from Barsoi, two from Mirchai Badi, and one each from Bari Chatar, Laxmipur, Falka, Jagatpur, Batohar Town, and Pranpur taking the total to 34 in the district. In Kamur District, three cases were reported from Chairnpur and be each from Kudra and Bhagwanpur taking the total to 44 in the district. Three cases were reported from Bhagalpur and one each from Pandarak (Patna), Jhajha (Jamui), and Nirmali ( Supaul).
