Patna : Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases soared to 9,618 in Bihar on June 29, 2020, night, with 112 more persons including 26 from Patna, 18 from Begusarai, 13 from Samastipur, six from Gopalganj testing positive to it. The authorities concerned are ascertaining their infection trail. Coronavirus death toll has climbed to 63 in Bihar with one new death being reported from Nalanda District.
On the positive side, 7,374 COVID-19 patients have been declared cured in the state with the recovery rate being 77%. In all, 394 persons including over one hundred from Patna District tested positive to Coronavirus in Bihar on June 29, 2020.
In Patna District, six cases were reported from Paliganj, two from Naubatpur, eight from Patna, . In Madhubani District in North Bihar, one case each was reported from Andhratharhi, Laukahi, and Rajnagar. In Araria District, one case was reported from Kursakanta.
In Samastipur District in North Bihar, 12 cases were reported from Warisnagar and one from Rosera. In Begusarai District, two cases were reported from Begusarai and one from Teghra.
