Patna : Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases jumped to 8,273 in Bihar on June 24, 2020, night, with 93 more persons including 16 from Patna District, 16 from Begusarai, 12 from Munger, 10 from Siwan, 13 from Nalanda, 9 from Samastipur,  five from Bhagalpur, five from Gopalganj, testing positive to it. The new patients are in 5-60 year age group and authorities concerned are looking into their infection trail. In all, 223 persons tested positive to Coronavirus in Bihar on the day.

In Patna District, nine cases were reported from Patna, four from Daniyawan, and one each from Agamkuan and Fatuha, and Mokara. Coronavirus death toll has reached four in Patna, which has reported 485 positive cases so far.  In Bhagalpur District, two cases were reported from Jagdishpur, and one each from Kharik, Sabour, Bihpur. In Siwan District in North Bihar, six cases were reported from Hasanpura, three from Panchrukhi, and one from Mairwa.

In Munger District, four cases were reported from Tetiyabamber, three from Dharhara, two from Hveli Kharagpur, and two from Asarganj, andone from Tarapur. In Nalanda District, seven cases were reported from Biharsharif, two from Ashthawan, and one each from Ben, Nagarnausa, Noorsarai, and Karaiparsurai.

In Samastipur District, three cases were reported from Vidyapatinagar, two from Dalsingsarai, and one each from Mohanpur, Moiuddinnagar, Samastipur, and Sighia. In Gopalganj District, three cases were reported from Uchkagaon, and one each from Sidhwalia and Gopalganj.  In Begusarai District, eight cases were reported from Dandari Block, three from Balia, and five from Sahebpurkamal.
