Patna : Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases rose to 7,893 in Bihar on June 22, 2020, night, with 85 more persons including 20 from Patna District, 22 from Siwan, six from Gopalganj, four from Purnia, four from Madhubani, and 8 from Munger, testing positive to it. The new patients are in 1-63 year age group and the authorities concerned are ascertaining their infection trail. In all, 228 persons tested positive to Coronavis in Bihar on the day.
In Patna District, 15 cases were reported from Paliganj, one each from Pandarak, Khajpura, Athmalgola, Patna, and BMP. In Siwan District in North Bihar, 12 cases were reported from Jiradei, two from Daraundha, seven from Goreakothi, and one from Nautan. In Munger District, two cases were reported from Haveli Kharagpur, three from Jamalpur, one from Asarganj, and two from Tarapur. In Nalanda District, two cases were reported from Harnaut, two cases from Giriak, and one each from Silao, Noorsarai, and Rahuui.
In Madhubani District, four cases were reported from Jhanjharpur. In Gopalganj District, five cases were reported from Katiya and one from Baikunthpur. In Kathihar District in eastern Bihar, two cases were reported from Barsoi and one from Korha.
