Patna : Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases rose to 7,665 in Bihar on June 21, 2020, night, with 63 more persons including 10 cases from Patna, 11 from Madhubani, 8 from Sitamarhi, seven from Purnia, six from Siwan, six from Katihar, and six from Bhojpur, testing positive to it. The new patients are in 5-70 year age group and authorities concerned are ascertaining their infection trail. In all, 162 persons tested positive to Coronavirus in Bihar on June 21. One persons died due to Coronavirus in Begusarai taking the death toll to four in the district.

In Patna District, four cases were reported from Patna, and one each from Paliganj, Maner, Salimpur, Masaurhi, Bihta, and Agamkuan. In Madhubani District in North Bihar, seven cases were reported from Rajnagar, two from Laukahi, and one each from Andhrathadi and Madhwapur. In Sitamarhi District in North Bihar, eight cases were reported from Parsauni. In Siwan District, four cases were reported from Basantpur and one each from Siwan and Jiradei.

In Purnia District, six  cases were reported from Purnia East and  one from Banmankhi. In Katihar District in eastern Bihar, four cases were reported from Falkaand one each from Katihar and Sameli. In Bhagalpur District, two cases were reported from Naugachhia. In Rohtas District, one case each was reported from Akohrigola and Rohtas. In Darbhanga, one case was reported from Gaura Bauram.

In Bhojpur District, two cases were reported from Garhani, and one each from Ara, Kesath, Barhara, and Koelwar. In Jehanabad District, two cases were reported from Kako.
