Patna : Coronavirus (COVID-19) confirmed cases jumped to 5,175 in Bihar on June 8, 2020, morning, with 105 more persons including 19 from Madhubani District, 11 from Siwan, 11 from Munger, five from West Champaran, 10 from Buxar, five from Araria, four from Muzaffarpur, testing positive to it. The new patients are in 15-77 year age group and the local authorities are ascertaining their infection trail.
In Madhubani District, 13 cases were reported from Rajnagar, one each from Laukahi, Rahika, and Madhepur, and three from Khajauli. In Buxar District, 10 cases were reported from Nawanagar. In Siwan District in North Bihar, nine cases were reported from Basantpur and two from Barharia. In Munger District, six cases were reported from Sangrampur, three from Asarganj.
In Kishanganj, three cases were reported from Thakurganj and one from Chausa. In Araria, four cases were reported from Narpatganj and one from Araria. In Supaul, two cases were reported from Chhatapur and one from Supaul. In Muzaffarpur District, three cases were reported from Bochahan and one from Kurhani.
In West Champaran, five cases were reported from Ramnagar. In Samastipur, two cases were reported from Warisnagar and one from Khanpur. In Arwal, two cases were reported from Kurtha and two from Banshi Suryapur. In Katihar, four cases were reported from Kadwa and one from Azamnagar. In Saharsa, two cases were reported from Kahra.
