Patna : Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases jumped t0 4,972 in Bihar on June 7, 2020, with 141 more persons including 30 from Muzaffarpur, 16 from Supaul, 15 from Samastipur, 15 from Munger, 8 from Kishanganj, 6 from Saharsa, testing positive to it. Five persons from Gaya, four persons each from Rohtas, Buxar, Bhagalpur, and Khagaria, three each from Nalanda and Saran,andĀ two from Patna also tested positive to Coronavirus. The new patients are in 3-60 year age group and local authorities are ascertaining their infection trail.
In Muzaffarpur District in North Bihar, 7 cases were reported from Bochahan, 12 from Saraiya, 8 from Paroo, two from Katra and one from Sakra. In Bhagalpur, three cases were reported from Bihpur and one from Naugachhia. In Patna District, one case was reported from Guljarbagh and one from Bahadurpur.
In Supaul Disytrict in North Bihar, five were reported from Pipra, four from Saraigarh, three cases Raghopur, two from Basantpur, and one each from Nirmali and Chhatapur. In Kishanganj, 8 cases were reported from Thakurganj. In Nalanda, three cases were reported from Biharsharif. In Xaran District, two cases were reported from Sonepur and one from Chhapra.
In Samastipur District in North Bihar, five cases were reported from Sarairanjan, four from Warisnagar, two from Pusa and Khanpur, and one each from Samastipur Town and Policeline. In Munger District, five cases were reported from Sangrampur and one from Tarapur, four from Haveli Kharagpur, and five from Asarganj. In Khagaria District, three cases were reported from Babhangama and one from Mansi.
In Purnia District in Eastern Bihar, four cases were reported from Srinagar. In Buxar District, four cases were reported from Rajpur. In Saharsa District, two cases each were reported fromĀ Mahishi and Kahra and one each from Sattar Katiya and Nauhatta.
