Patna :  Fifty-four more persons including 12 from Gaya,  10 from Nawada, 8 from Purnia, and five each from Bhagalpur, Khagaria, and Siwan tested positive to Coronavirus (COVID-19) on May 28, 2020, taking the total to 3,090 in Bihar. The new patient are in 10-62 year age group and authorities concerned are looking into their infection trail. Coronavirus death toll stands at 15 in the state.

In Gaya District, five cases were reported from Tekari, two each from Tankuppa and Atri, and one each from Gaya Town, Saidpur, and Amas. In Siwan District in North Bihar, three cases were reported from Pachrukhi and two from Goreakothi. In Supaul District in North Bihar, two cases were reported from Raghopur and one from Kishanpur. In Patna, one case was reported from Digha and one from Barh while in Gopalganj one case was reported from Sidhwalia and one from Phulwaria.

In Nawada District, three cases were reported from Narhat, two each from Hisua and Kauakole, and one each from Nardiganj, Dhandholi, and Akbarpur. In Bhagalpur District in eastern Bihar, two cases were reported from Nathnagar, and one each from Sabour, Sultanganj, and Shahkund.

In Purnia District in eastern Bihar, five cases were reported from Purnia East, two from Jalagarh, and one from Amour. In Khagaria District, two cases were reported from Alauli, and one each from Parbatta, Mansi, and Policeline. One case was reported from Haspura in Aurangabad district too.
