Patna : Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases rose to 21,558 in Bihar on July 16, 2020, afternoon, as 1,385 more persons including 378 from Patna District, 93 from Nalanda, 68 from Muzaffarpur, 63 from Siwan, 59 from Jamui, 55 from Bhagalpur, 54 from Bhojpur, and 53 from West Champaran testing positive to it. A total of 13,533 patients have recovered till date.
According to State Health Department sources, 45 persons in Lakhisarai, 42 persons in Gaya, 38 from Saran, 37 from East Champaran, 36 from Begusarai, 33 from Munger, 31 from Samastipur, and 30 from Vaishali have also tested Corona positive during last 24 hours.
With this, 6,519 personas have tested Corona positive since July 12, 2020, in Bihar. The Corona death toll in Bihar stands at 180.
