Patna : Coronavirus (COVID-219) cases rose to 17,421 in Bihar on July 13, 2020, afternoon, with 1,116 more persons including 228 from Patna District, 79 from Begusarai, 78 from Bhagalpur, 76 from Muzsaffarpur, 68 from Munger, 65 from Gaya, 51 from Rohtas, 50 from Siwan, 41 from Madhubani, 39 in West Champaran, and 33 from Bhojpur, testing positive to it. On July 12, 1,266 persons including 177 in Patna had tested positive to Coronavirus in the state.
According to State Health Department sources, 29 persons in Samastipur District, 28 in Jamui, 28 in Katihar, 24 in Nalanda, 22 in Gopalganj, 20 in Arwal, 18 in Kaimur, 17 in Jehanabad, 17 in Lakhisarai, 11 in East Champaran,11 in Saharsa, 9 in Khagaria, 8 in Kishsanganj, 8 in Purnia, 8 in Saran, 7 in Madhepura, 7 in Nawada, sand 6 in Vasiashasli have also tested positive to COVID-19.
A total of 11,953 patients have been declared cured in Bihar till date. The Coronavirus death toll in Bihar climbed to 143 on July 13 with twelve new deaths being reported from different parts of the state during last 24 hours.
