Patna : Brajesh Pandey, vice-president of Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee (BPCC) and AICC member, resigned from his post on February 21, 2017, evening. Harkhu Jha, BPCC spokesman, said Pandey resigned on moral grounds and BPCC president Ashok Chaudhury has accepted it. Pandey in his resignation letter said some newspapers had published reports involving him in  an alleged sex racket in which he was not involved. Under a conspiracy, his name was being circulated, Pandey alleged.
