Gopalganj : Shashi Kant Tiwari alias Munna, 40 ,a Contractor, was shot dead on May 26, 2020, by three unidentified motorcycle borne
criminals when he was sitting at a mango orchard near his house at village Repura under Hathua police station in Gopalganj district in North Bihar. He died on the spot as the hired criminals fired several rounds at him.
Four persons including a woman have been killed by the criminals in last 72 hours in Gopalganj District. Three persons were killed at village Rupanchak while one person was killed at Repura villages under Hathua police station.
Ashok Kumar, SHO, Hathua police station, said that a case has been registered in connection with Repura incident and
investigation is on and the criminals would be arrested soon. He further said according to locals Shash Kant Tiwari had got a contract for construction of a pond at an estimated cost of Rs 40 lakh and the cause of murder may be rivalry among contractors.
