Patna : PM Narendra Modi on April 20, 2019, charged the Congress Party with being soft on terrorists and said it was only  concerned about its vote bank and urged the people to give it a befitting lesson in the on going LS polls.

Addressing a huge rally at Forbesganj in favour of NDA candidate from Araria  parliamentary constituency, PM Modi said that the Mumbai terror attack on November 26, 2008, killing a large number of people security forces was not handled properly by the then Congress led UPA Government as the party in power was more concerned about its vote bank.PM Modi said that one should not forget that out first identity is that of an Indian.

The PM said that ever since BJP led NDA Government came to power in 2014, the people of India have seen what is politics of  patriotism and how India got rid of its soft approach on terrorism and responded very strongly to both Uri and Pulwama terror attacks by first carrying out surgical strikes and then Balakot arirstrike. Bihar CM and JD(U) National President Nitish Kumar, Deputy CM Sushil Kumar Modi, Bihar BJP chief Nityanand Rai, and LJP Chief Ram Vilas Paswan were also present on the occasion.
