College girl raped at Muzaffarpur hotel, accused held

Muzaffarpur : Police on May 3, 2017, late night, arrested one Hareram Kumar, 28, for allegedly raping a college girl at a Muzaffarpur hotel, where he had called the girl for an interview for a job the same morning. Hareram Kumar’s native village falls under Sakra police station in Muzaffarpur district.

Haremram was arrested after the medical examination of the girl confirmed rape. He was sent to jail on May 4. DSP, City, Ashish Anand, said that the accused had been booked under different sections of IPC and investigation into the incident was on.
