Coaching institute owner shot dead in Bhojpur

Ara : Some unidentified armed miscreants shot dead a coaching institute owner and  private school teacher Birendra Prasad, 45, son of Shiv Shankar Singh near Ojhawalia Mor under Piro police station in Bhojpur district, in the wee hours on July 9, 2018. They threw the body on the road near the village and escaped.

The villagers found a body lying on the road near the canal of the village early morning and informed police. Police brough the body over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. Police also seized a blank cartridge of .9mm caliber from the spot.

The deceased was a resident of village Jagdishpur Pathak under Piro police station and ran a coaching centre there. An FIR has been lodged with Piro police station but no arrest has so far been made in this connection. The reason behind the incident is yet to be ascertained.
