Class V Kendriya Vidyalaya student commits suicide in Sitamarhi

Sitamarhi : A Class V student of Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) Jawahar Nagar-Sutihara in Sitamarhi District Satish Kumar, 11, allegedly committed suicide on September 25, 2019, evening. He was admitted to a private nursing home at Sitamarhi town but died during the course of treatment. The teacher and private hostel warden fled away from the nursing home.

Son of a farmer Satish Kumar, who was living at a private hostel, was in distress and tension for the last two days due to allegation of  theft against him. He was a native of village Mirzapur under Punaura police station. Sadar SDPO, Sitamarhi, K V Dhirendra, said that investigation is underway to locate the culprits.

The KV is located 16 km away from Sitamarhi town on Sursand road where sufficient school hostels are not available. Taking advantage of this, some residents of Sutihara are running a few private hostels with insufficient facilities.
