CII delegation calls on Bihar CM

Patna : A Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) delegation headed by CII President Designate Rakesh Mittal on November 8, 2017,  called on Bihar CM Nitish Kumar and evinced interest in promoting investment in food processing and farm machinery in the state. The delegation included CII Chairman for eastern region Umesh Choudhary and Regional Director for East and North-East Neeta Karmakar.

The delegation told the Chief Minister that the CII wants to promote investment in Bihar in food processing and farm machinery and wants to work in collaboration with the state industries department. Bihar has an excellent industrial policy which the CII will try to publicize so that investors get attracted to the state, said the delegation members.

The CII team also proposed holding investment meets in the state after which CM Nitish Kumar gave necessary instructions to Principal Secretary, Industries Department, S Siddharth.  Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Chanchal Kumar was also present on the occasion.
