Patna : World No 7 P V Sindhu, India, lost to 6th seed Pompawee Chochuwong, 23, Thailand, in straight sets in women’s semi–finals of Yonex All England Open Badminton Championships 2021, an HSBC BWF World Tour Super 1,000 event at Birmingham, England, on March 20, 2021. World No 11 Chochuwong beat 5th seed Sindhu in straight games 21-17, 21-9 in 45 minutes to enter the final of the tournament. Chochuwong won 42 rallies in the match to 26 by Sindhu. Sindhu, however, still leads Chochuwong 4-2 Head to Head.
