Patna : A Chief Engineer (CE) and four Executive Engineers (EEs) of Water Resources Department (WRD), were found absent from their respective places of posting in random cellphone tracking by a Joint Secretary of the department, Gorakhnath, IAS, on December 20, 2018.
According to a WRD release, Shailendra, Chief Engineer, Irrigation, Abdul Qayum, EE, Irrigation, Mechanical Division, Valmikinagar, West Champaran, and Shashikant Singh, EE, Irrigation, Mechanical Division, Samastipur, were found absent in random mobile tracking on December 20. EE, Irrigation (Mechanical), Digha Division, Patna, and EE, Irrigation (Mechanical), Darbhanga Division, were also found absent, the WRD release added. The department has taken serious note of their absence and would take stern action after an inquiry.
