CCTV installed at 16 points at Ara, Control Room inaugurated

Ara : Mayor, Ara Municipal Corporation (AMC), Priyam Devi, on February 1, 2018, inaugurated the control room for the CCTV at the office of Bhojpur SP Aakash Kumar. Speaking on the occasion the SP said that with the installation of CCTV at vatage points at Ara will help the administration in checking crime and hoped that crime graph will certainly come down.
The SP said that 36 points were selected for installation of CCTV but till date CCTVs had been installed at 16 points including Gopal Chowk, near Ara Jail, Jail road, Shivganj, Ara Sadar Hospital, Badi Mathura, Karman Tola, Mega Mart, Nawada Chowk, Shaheed Bhawan, Civil Surgeon roundabout, Judge Kothi Mor, Tribhuvan Mor, Eastern Railway Crossing, Station Road and Town Police Station, Ara, roundabout.
DM, Bhojpur, Sanjeev Kumar said that the CCTVs are equipped with Night Vision and of high capacity and the officials can see the footage by zooming or focussing on them at the Control  Room.
