CCTV cameras to be installed at 14 places at Buxar to check crime

Buxar: Police have decided to install CCTV cameras at almost all the important roundabout at Buxar to check crime. The police officials have completed the survey in this regard. After installation of CCTV cameras, police will easily identify the miscreants and arrest them with the help of CCTV footage.

Buxar SP Upendra Sharma said that the CCTV cameras will be installed with the help of the local people at 14 important places at Buxar including Golambar, Syndicate roundabout, Yamuna Chowk, Munim Chowk, Jyoti Chowk, Ambedkar Chowk, Railway Station, Naya Bazaar, Mathia Mohalla, Ram-Janki temple roundabout, Model Town Police Station roundabout. He said control rooms will also be set up at all the places earmarked for the installation of the CCTV and police personnel will be deputed round the clock to watch the activities criminals. These control rooms will be developed as police chowki and small cases will be solved on the spot while serious cases will be forwarded to the police stations concerned.
