Chas (Jharkhand) : Delhi Public School, Chas, in Bokasro District, is all set to host the second webinar under “UDAY- THE RISING” on July 11, 2020, at 4 pm, to be addressed by CBSE Secretary Anurag Tripathi on “Relevance of Schooling in this Pandemic Time.” More than 2,000 students, guardians, and teachers from 200 plus schools of the country (Jharkhand, Kerala, Rajasthan, Telangana, New Delhi so on) and from Kuwait and Dubai have registered themsaelvesa for the webinar.
Anurag Tripathi, IRPS & Secretary, CBSE, is renowned for getting innovative ideas in education implemented in schools. Students, teachers, and parents look forward to get answers to hundreds of queries which are pouring in. His interaction will provide clarity on the relevance and future of schooling, schooling norms, and expectations from all the stakeholders, in the country during this pandemic.
Dr Hemlata S Mohan, Chairperson, Centre for Cultural Resources and Training (CCRT), New Delhi, and Chief Mentor, DPS Chas, said, “The school has been one of the earliest ones to hold online classes as early as April. DPS Chas has replaced the traditional Time Table with lesser Instructional Hours, more Experiential, Art Integrated and Activity Based Learning. The interaction with Tripathi will provide clarity in implementing the changes into online classes more effectively.
Giving details of the webinar, Officiating Principal Shailaja Jayakumar said, ” Te initiative “UDAY- The Rising”, a series of webinars, the first webinar held on July 1, 2020, hosted educationists and industry leaders as panellists. They addressed the concerns of commerce students and guided them on opportunities to earn international qualifications and career opportunities right from class XI. This webinar will provide thoughts on relevance of schooling in this pandemic time.
