CBI to probe Navruna kidnapping case as murder case now

Muzaffarpur: The Navruna kidnapping case would now be investigated as a murder case by the CBI. A Muzaffarpur court on November 17, 2016, allowed the CBI to probe the Navruna kidnapping case as a murder case. CBI Inspector Kumar Raunak had sought permission from the court to convert the kidnapping case into a murder case and investigate it accordingly. The CBI has already carried out DNA test of Navruna’s parents besides Narco tests  of several persons including a police Inspector. Sources said  that the CBI could arrest some suspects soon and crack the case. Navruna, a school student, was kidnapped in September 2012. The CBI took rover the investigation of the case  in February 2014.
